Vacation By The Numbers: It’s The Busiest Time of the Year (and I absolutely love it!!!)

Happy Holidays, everyone!

Please take the tone of this post with a grain of salt.  Consider it a tribute to the many, many ways that we all stay incredibly busy this time of the year.  In no way am I Grinch-like;  I love this time of the year, especially since 2 of the 4 birthdays celebrated during this vacation belong to my children who were both born in the days immediately following Christmas, eight years apart (Who da thunk it!).

As I was thinking back to all that has happened this past vacation (so far, anyway; my vacation hasn’t reached the full 12 days yet!), I had to chuckle at how nicely all of the events fit into this classic song style.  It’s all true, ladies and gentlemen.  The Ice Storm, power outages, overnight guests, and the horsey play sets.

Happy New Year!
