NaNoWriMo: That frenzied month of writing a novel is almost upon us, and I couldn’t be more excited! The idea for this blog mini series was hatched out of my desire to connect with a group of people during NaNo, in the hopes that it spurs my own creativity and endurance as I plow my way through 50K. Living where I do, large groups of ANY people are hard to come by, let alone groups that wish to write together.

I reached out to my writer-ly friends on Twitter scoping out interest, and the response to this series blew me away. The plan is to share a pre-NaNo14 post, a post during the throes of November, and a final wrap-up post where we will all be able to claim victory in reaching the 50K word goal!

Along the way I’ll be introducing my NaNo mini-series participants to you. We’ll learn a little bit about them and what they plan to work on during the month of November. We hope to inspire you to get into the spirit with us, even if you don’t participate as an “official” NaNoWriMo participant. We also hope you’ll want to share your own writing goals for the month on this blog. It’ll be inspiration all around!
